Every reservation is 4 days / 3 nights: the campground costs US$455 per person in 2026, permits, fees and taxes included, and a lodge room in Supai costs US$2,277 for up to 4 people. There is no day hiking: from the Hilltop it is 8 miles to Supai village and 2 more to the campground, one way, and every visit needs a reservation made in advance.

How the permit works

- 2Be online and logged in when the annual release opens — it is first-come, not a lottery.
- 3Book a three-night block; nights and dates are fixed once purchased.
- 4Pay at booking: US$455 per person for the campground in 2026, permits, fees and taxes included; the 2027 price is not published yet.
- 5Know the rules before you pay: resale or transfer of reservations is strictly prohibited, and cancelling 90 days or more ahead refunds 50%, with no refund inside 90 days.
