Overview
You need a ticket for a 30-minute entry slot to visit the Real Alcázar of Seville, and you have to enter at the time printed on it. The general ticket costs €15.50 on the official ticket office, and once bought it cannot be changed or refunded. On busy dates the online tickets may sell out in advance.

A guided visit is a separate booking: the guide and the entrance come together, for a fixed time. It is worth checking when the official calendar has nothing left for your date.

When a date no longer appears online, the ticket office in the Patio de Banderas still holds a very limited same-day quota for each slot, on sale from 09:00. The official site does not say how far ahead each date goes on sale, so look at the calendar as soon as your dates are fixed. It also states that there are no waiting lists and no early releases for its own tickets. A guided visit sold together with the entrance is a different product: you pay for the guide and the entry in one booking, for a fixed time.

How the permit works
- 1Buy on the official ticket office (alcazardesevilla.infoticketing.com) and choose the visit: the Real Alcázar, or the Real Alcázar plus the Cuarto Real Alto, the upper royal rooms.
- 2Pick the date and a 30-minute entry slot. Capacity in each slot is limited and the time on the ticket must be respected.
- 3Enter each visitor’s name and ID card or passport number. The field is mandatory, and the physical document is requested at the entrance.
- 4If your date is no longer online, go to the ticket office in the Patio de Banderas: it opens at 09:00, sells tickets for the same day only and accepts cards only.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to book the Real Alcázar of Seville in advance?
Entry is by 30-minute time slot with limited capacity, and the official ticket office warns that tickets may sell out in advance on high-demand dates. Buying online ahead is the safe route, because the ticket office only sells for the same day.
How much is the Real Alcázar ticket?
The general ticket is €15.50 and the reduced ticket €8, for over-65s and students aged 14 to 30. The Cuarto Real Alto is listed at €5.50 and is sold together with the Real Alcázar visit.
Can I change or refund a Real Alcázar ticket?
No. Under the terms of sale, tickets cannot be changed, rescheduled, cancelled or refunded once the purchase is made, whatever the reason.
What if my date does not appear on the official website?
It means the online tickets are sold out. The ticket office keeps a very limited quota for each 30-minute slot, sold only on the day from 09:00, and only for the standard Real Alcázar visit.
Is there a waiting list for sold-out tickets?
No. The official ticket office states that there are no waiting lists, early ticket releases or alternative channels for its tickets: only its website and, on the day, the ticket office.
What are the Real Alcázar opening hours?
Visiting hours are 09:30 to 17:00 from 1 October to 31 March and 09:30 to 19:00 from 1 April to 30 September. It is closed on 1 and 6 January, Good Friday and 25 December.
